Email mailing list service - Vertical Response

The best commercial mail list and newsletter emailing service I've used. No minimum monthly charge - pay only as you send emails. Other services charge $15 to $25 a month even when no emails are sent that month.

Emails start at 1.5 cents each, and go down for volume purchase. Purchased credits never expire. They have excellent tools for creating emails/newsletters and monitoring mailing campaigns. Quickly add a "sign up for my email list" form to your website.

Credit Card Processor - Paypal

I recommend Paypal as the best way for small websites and blogs to allow customers to make purchases by credit card. Paypal has no minimum monthly fees, and their rates are quite competive.

Customers can now use a credit card even if they don't have a Paypal account. Having a Paypal account is no longer required.

Improving Google search engine rankings - SEO Book

SEO Book is probably the most comprehensive and useful collection of information on how to improve Google search rankings. Much "HowTo" information (including videos) is also available for free on their website.
